The campground has a boat launch, water faucets, pit toilets, picnic tables, and firepits. We have a campervan and we saw a number of travel trailers and truck campers there. It's certainly not the worst road we've been on but has several potholes and is heavily washboarded, even some of the paved sections. The only downside is the road to the campground. We had a relatively level site, a nice view, and a trail down to the water. We arrived on Thursday night and stayed in site 12 in the upper loop, then chatted with a few people in the lower loop the next morning and arranged a swap for site 2. The campground has 4 sites in the lower loop on the lake and the rest of the sites are in the upper loop. We wanted a lakeside site but were planning too late to make a reservation anywhere. Pipe Lake is partially located in both Covington and Maple Valley, Washington. The watershed is 403 acres in size and includes drainage from adjacent Pipe Lake. The lake is 16 acres in size with a mean depth of 18 feet and with a maximum depth of 37 feet. Spent 4 nights at Wade Lake Campground over Labor Day weekend. Lake Lucerne is located in Maple Valley, Washington.
